We’re excited to welcome your child to the Junior Project Manager Program (Junior PM) — a national initiative, that empowers students aged 12–16 to develop innovative, sustainable projects and
showcase them during UAE Innovates 2026, November 2026.

We (as a school, separate consent will be taken from parents) consent to our school children in participating in the Junior Project Manager Program 2026.
We agree that our school students will:
  • Attend project management training sessions at designated facilities (e.g., Ministry offices).
  • Participate in online activities, including:
  • The Opening Ceremony (23rd September 2026)
  • Weekly check-in and mentorship sessions (October-November, as part of the CCA/ECA)
  • Training calls and team collaboration meetings
We understand that our school students will work with a team on a real-world project in the area of sustainability and innovation, requiring ~3–4 hours/week from September to November.
We agree that my child will:
  • Participate in the Project Expo - 25th November 2026.
  • Attend the Final Award Ceremony in person.
All information provided will be treated confidentially and used solely for the purpose of delivering the program.

About the Program
Meet the Junior Project Manager Program—where secondary‑school students (age 12–16) learn, plan, and deliver innovative sustainability-focused projects for leading UAE companies.

From the first brainstorming session to the finale stage, they transform ideas into impact—guided by mentors and industry experts.

The program includes categories for
Sustainability, Innovation, and Emirati Talents.
  • Team-Based Challenge
    Secondary-school students (ages 14–16) form teams to solve real-world challenges.
  • The competition
    In just two months, each team builds a real project — guided by a mentor and industry expert from first idea to final stage.
  • Learning Project Management
    Students learn the fundamentals of project management with Lego based on the LPM Skills Development Framework.
  • Build for Real
    Selected teams will be chosen by leading UAE companies to develop their project into a real product — creating genuine value beyond the classroom.
Timelines
by 10th September – Team Nominations
Each school can assign up to 10 students, organized into up to 3 teams.
From 24th September to 10th October – Bootcamp
Lego based workshop introducing PM fundamentals.
October → November –
Project Execution
Student teams tackle project briefs with mentor check‑ins.
16-20 November 2026 -
Online Project Pitch
All teams will present their projects online, pitching their ideas and prototypes, and explaining how project management structure helped them achieve their results, with selected teams having the chance to present at the Project Expo.
25th November 2026
Project Expo and Award Ceremony
Only selected teams advance to the Project Expo finale for awards.
